We’ve selected 10 candidates to choose from this past week’s games

High school football is back in the Sunshine State and so begins our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in Week 3.

As such, we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s North Central Florida Offensive Football Player of the Week award from September 7-9, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, September 17 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Dakota Brower, QB, Oak Hall: It was a record setting night for Oak Hall when they defeated Seven Rivers Christian 70-14. A school record for points and Brower touched the ball six times between the pass and run, three of those times resulted in touchdowns. That also included 156 yards of offense. 

Jamare Dorsey, RB, South Sumter: The senior running back rushed for 127 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 48-29 win over Forest last week. 

Tyrese Keiler, RB, South Sumter: Dorsey wasn't the only one having fun in the backfield for the Raiders as Keiler rushed for a game-high 132 yards and three touchdowns. 

Vimel Poole, QB, Forest: Despite in a loss to South Sumter, Poole completed 19-of35 passing and threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns. 

Kaleb Woods, RB, Newberry: The Panthers ran away in a 41-13 win over West Port behind the play of Woods. The tailback rushed for 138 yards and four touchdowns. 

CJ Ingram, QB, Hawthorne: In a 46-6 blowout win over Terry Parker, Ingram completed 10-of-13 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns.

Alvon Isaac, WR, Hawthorne: On the receiving end of Ingram's passes was Isaac, who caught four passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns. 

Fred Gaskin III, QB, Vanguard: It was the Gaskin show in the Knights thrilling 28-21 win over Dunnellon as the USF commitment completed 22-of-33 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns. 

Shamon Coleman, QB, Williston: Red Devils poured it on in a 43-7 shellacking of Land O' Lakes, with Coleman completing 7-of-8 passes and throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

J'Dyen Manneh, RB, Trenton: The only two carries of the 65-20 win over Saint Francis Catholic, Manneh scored on both. Manneh rushed twice for 108 yards and two scores.
