Punched the Generals’ ticket to the state tournament with a walk-off RBI single as Anthony Wayne defeated Medina 3-2.
Catie Boggs, Wheelersburg softball
Helped lead Wheelersburg to a Division III state title with a homer, a triple and four RBIs in a 6-0 state championship game win over Indian Lake.
Braylon Cordonnier, Russia baseball
Pitched a complete game, surrendering seven hits and striking out nine batters when the Raiders beat South Charleston Southeastern 4-1 to earn its second consecutive Division IV regional title.
Drew Erdmann, Walsh Jesuit baseball
The University of Cincinnati commit pitched a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Warriors to a 10-0 victory over University School in the Division I regional finals.

In a 6-0 win over Indian Lake in the Division III state championship game, Howard tossed a two-hit shutout to help the Pirates finish undefeated and repeat as state champs.
Riley Jackson, Tallmadge softball
Tossed a two-hitter in the Division II state championship game as the Blue devils defeated Canfield 9-0 to win the school's eighth state title and its first since 1998.
Nathan Manley, Archbishop Moeller baseball
The Wright State commit went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to help the Crusaders edge Elder 7-6 and punch a ticket to the state semifinals for the first time since 2015.
Hayley Reiger, Strasburg-Franklin softball
Went 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI to help the Tigers defeat Hopewell-Loundon 8-2 in the Division IV state championship game. The Tigers finished the season 29-2 and earned their ninth state title, tying them for the most in Ohio history.
Will Schlabach, Hiland baseball
Had 11 strikeouts in five innings to help Hiland shut out White Oak 8-0 and earn their first regional championship since 2017.
Otto Solorzano, Waynedale baseball
Solorzano struck out 10 batters, walked one and allowed one hit as the Golden Bears defeated South Range 14-1 in five innings to earn a second straight state tournament berth.
Amelia Spidell, Strasburg-Franklin softball
The junior struck out 18 hitters, a new OHSAA Division IV state tournament record, and allowed a pair of runs to help the Tigers repeat as state champions with an 8-2 win over previously unbeaten Hopewell-Loudon. She had tied the Division IV record for the state tournament in the state semifinals with 15 strikeouts before breaking the record the next day.
Sydnie Watts, Austintown-Fitch softball
Threw a no-hitter in the Division I state semifinals as the Falcons defeated Lebanon 3-0. The sophomore pitcher struck out 12 in the game. She also struck out 12 in the state championship game. The no-hitter was her third of the postseason.
Mia Zappola, Tallmadge softball
Zappola scored two runs and had a pair of RBIs in the Blue Devils' 9-0 win over Canfield 9-0 in the Division II state championship game.
