Alva junior cross country runner Lakin Gaddy voted SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Aug. 21-27

Gaddy claimed first place in her hometown cross country meet

At her home cross country meet, Lakin Gaddy was the first to cross the finish line. 

Gaddy, a junior at Alva, took first place at the Alva Invitational Meet on Aug. 26, running the two-mile course with a time of 12:51.

For her efforts, Gaddy was voted as the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Aug. 21-27.
