Watonga sophomore cross country runner Brayden Cowan voted SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10

Cowan wins Cherokee Invitational meet with a time of exactly 15 minutes

It took Brayden Cowan exactly 15 minutes to finish his race — and win it. 

Cowan, a sophomore cross country runner from Watonga, won the Cherokee Invitational meet Sept. 9, crossing the finish line in a time of 15 minutes flat.

For his efforts, Cowan was voted the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-10.
