On the last weekend of the 2019-2020 recruiting period, Kentwood High School senior Alphonse Oywak made took a visit to Washington State University.

After he was finished, he knew where he wanted to be - in his home state. After de-committing from Arizona, he signed with the Cougars on Wednesday as a cornerback.

Oywak was one of five Kentwood players to sign in the school's orchestra room, and talked to Scorebook Live about his decision.
