GAME WE’RE INTRIGUED BY

Almira-Coulee-Hartline vs. Sunnyside Christian: In the not-so-distant past, neither of these two teams had to worry about playing in a loser-out to open state. Now the three-time defending 1B champs take on ACH, which may be among the toughest 10-seeds across all classifications, given that it picked up the majority of its losses before big man Reece Isaak returned from an injury. Isaak should see plenty of attention from Sunnyside and all-league selections Tyler Groeneweg (roughly 18 points per game) and freshman Cole Wagenaar (12 ppg). Will ACH’s Chase Gerard or Brayton Schafer take advantage?
