GAME WE’RE INTRIGUED BY

Life Christian Academy vs. Brewster: Maybe the two best 2B teams in the state are facing one another with a first round bye on the line. What’s compelling about this matchup is how well the teams match up from a size, athleticism standpoint. Life Christian Academy, led by junior guard Omari Maulana and big man Chae Hayes, has been a wrecking ball playing against its own classification. The question is, will Brewster and forward Cade Gebbers and co. have the offensive fire power to keep up — or the chops to match LCA’s defensive intensity?
