Smith is a four-time national high school coach of the year and has overseen nine national championships as the head basketball coach at Oak Hill Academy, a famed prep school in Virginia that has produced such talents as Rod Strickland, Rajon Rondo, Jerry Stackhouse and Carmelo Anthony.
