Blue Jays add Korecky, option Rasmussen

TORONTO (AP) The Blue Jays have promoted right-hander Bobby Korecky from Triple-A Buffalo and optioned left-hander Rob Rasmussen to Triple-A.

Korecky is the 20th pitcher on Toronto's roster this season. He was 3-1 with five saves and an 0.29 ERA in 22 games with the Bisons, striking out 32 while walking eight and allowing just one earned run in 31 innings.

A veteran of 22 major league games with Minnesota, Arizona and Toronto, Korecky has a career record of 2-0 with a 7.30 ERA.

Rasmussen made four relief appearances for Toronto, working two scoreless innings.
