Multiple teams including the AL-East leading Toronto Blue Jays will be keeping a close eye on Padres third baseman Chase Headley this weekend, according to Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

The 2012 Golden Glove winner is currently dealing with a herniated disc that required an epidural last week and caused him to miss four games. He is off to a rough first half of the season, hitting .199/.286/.328 and is due $6 million for the rest of the season. In 2012, he had a career-best year, hitting .286 with 31 homers and 115 RBI. Representatives from multiple teams will be on-hand to watch the 30-year old this weekend but his chronic injuries will be a topic of concern as they look to see whether he can bounce back from multiple injuries this season.
