Dodgers place Arruebarrena on 15-day DL

DENVER (AP) The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena on the 15-day disabled list with a right hip flexor strain and recalled infielder Carlos Triunfel from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Triunfel is available for Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies.

Triunfel was optioned to Albuquerque on Thursday to make room for Arruebarrena. Arruebarrena injured his hip in his first at-bat Friday, but stayed in the game. He did not play in Saturday's 8-7 loss to Colorado.

This is the third call-up for Triunfel, who was claimed off waivers from Seattle on April 22. He hit .154 in 13 games after being recalled twice from Triple-A in June.

The Dodgers have a full 40-man roster.
