Toronto Blue Jays

Record: 49-47

Standing: 2nd in AL East

Team Leaders:

Batting Average: Melky Cabrera, .299

Home Runs: Edwin Encarnacion, 26

ERA: Mark Buehrle, 2.64

After getting off to a red-hot start to the season, the Blue Jays have cooled off considerably. They were 38-24 on June 6 but have gone just 11-23 since, causing them to squander their division lead to the Baltimore Orioles.

Injuries have plagued Toronto in 2014. Edwin Encarnacion, Adam Lind, Brandon Morrow, Colby Rasmus, Brett Cecil, Brett Lawrie, Casey Janssen and Jose Reyes have all spent time on the disabled list so far. Luckily for the Jays, Mark Buehrle is 10-6 with a 2.64 ERA this season, and Jose Bautista is posting his third-highest OPS of his career. Even with time on the DL, Encarnacion leads the team and is third in the majors in home runs.
