White Sox: Adam Eaton suffered a lower back injury, X-rays are negative

X-rays were negative on White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton after he injured his back while running into the fence trying to catch a home run in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers, the team tweeted.
The 25-year-old, who was traded from the Diamondbacks in December, was trying to catch a home run from Texas shortstop Adam Rosales in the 3-1 loss. He appeared to hit the fence with his face and shoulder but the White Sox are calling it a bruised lower back.
Chicago travels to Seattle for a series that kicks off on Thursday and Eaton's status is unclear. The White Sox are fourth in the AL Central.
