Ramirez, who has been battling shoulder and calf problems this season, drew a two-out walk in the first inning but reportedly appeared uncomfortable as he walked to the dugout after the inning ended. He is considered day-to-day.

Ramirez was the team's designated hitter in Thursday's 7-0 win over the Angels, and he reportedly played catch before Friday's game with the team's vice president of medical services, Stan Conte, watching nearby.

The 30-year-old is hitting .277 with 12 homers and 58 RBIs in 99 games this season.
