The Los Angeles Angels have hired a new Major League bullpen coach for Ron Washington's staff. Angels insider from The Athletic Sam Blum reported that the Angels hired Steve Karsay to fill the role.

Karsay was the bullpen coach of the Milwaukee Brewers from 2019 to 2021. He then stepped down after 2021 to spend more time with his family.

However, two years later, he's getting back into the game of baseball with the Angels.

Karsay is being added to a star-studded coaching staff under Ron Washington that includes former managers and players.

Karsay is a former player, himself, playing with Oakland, Cleveland, Atlanta, New York and Texas over the course of his 12-year career as a pitcher.

Washington recently said he's still trying to bring along another former manager as his bench coach, but it remains to be seen if that comes to fruition.

For now, though, the Angels are continuing to put the right people into place under Ron Washington, as they hope to have a successful offseason and translate that to success on the field.
