All it really takes is one moment and one bad decision for the world to change their perspective on someone and completely turn their back against them.

The Los Angeles Angels' own Anthony Rendon knows this better than anyone else and he is still enduring it right now as he is only about two weeks removed from his altercation with an Oakland fan that got caught on camera.

It was pretty clear that both of them said and did things they regretted but obviously it looked worse on Rendon with him being the professional that's supposed to set an example.

Rendon did not want to comment on the matters until after the MLB concluded their investigation, in which they hit him with a four-game suspension, and he came out after to reveal that he had made amends with the fan over a phone call.

The Halos have welcomed him back with open arms thus far and team manager Phil Nevin revealed on 'Foul Territory TV' that he's proud of the 32-year-old for being man enough to learn from his wrongdoings.

"There was an unfortunate incident with two people," said Nevin. "They ended up talking a couple days later. I was around him when it happened and Anthony felt terrible, the fan felt terrible. I'll leave it at that, they had a great conversation. I think he's a very misunderstood guy. Being around him over the last year, there's a lot of leadership qualities that have come out. He was injured last year, he chose to stay with us as a group." (Via Foul Territory TV)

The biggest knock on Rendon by LA fans is that he gets paid like a superstar but has not been available to prove that he is one. His first two years with the Angels and have been injury-riddled and he has now started 2023 with this drama.

However, it's great to see Nevin supporting him even through his lowest of moments. It's exactly what he needs to break through and become their third star.
