In the latest update in the Anthony Rendon saga with the media, there is no update from the third baseman in his recovery this year.

Despite constant media questions from every angle on where exactly the Halos corner infielder is, he's dodged any and all efforts for an exact progress report.

It's another ugly look for the man on a massive contract that was signed in the winter of 2019.

The Angels thought they were getting a man who would continue his pace at a nearly 8 WAR level when they inked him for seven years on a hefty price tag.

Instead, it's been injury after injury and ineffective play that's hampered the former Washington National and World Series champion.

When you haven't been healthy and your seasons haven't been going well, the least you could do is face the music and let people know how you're feeling about it.

Apparently for the pricey anchor of a contract, even that minimal effort is too much for him to handle.
