Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. At this point, his name speaks for itself; he can do it all on the diamond. Ohtani can strikeout you out looking silly one inning, and in the next inning, he could crush a ball 450+ feet making the pitcher look silly.

There is nothing he can't do, and we're lucky to have him on our side. He remains the best player in the league and could go down as the greatest baseball player of all time. Before he gets into that conservation, he needs to collect some hardware and then some. Ohtani already has an MVP award, but many believe he'll win even more.

MLB lead writer for Bleacher Report Zachary Rymer predicts Shohei will earn his second MVP honors and get some BIG money in 2023.

And should anyone think Ohtani has lost any wattage on his pitches, he's struck out 18 of the 48 batters he's faced for a 37.5 strikeout percentage.

In other words, his march toward his second American League MVP and a contract that could be worth as much as $600 million is well and truly underway.

So far this season, Ohtani is well on his way to getting both the money and MVP honors. Heck, he could even find himself grabbing his first Cy Young award.

Through two starts this season, his pitching numbers are looking Cy Young-like. He's 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA, 18 strikeouts, and a 1.00 WHIP in 12 innings pitched.

He's the ultimate slugger and ace; actually, he's the only slugger and ace in the entire league. Barring another record-breaking home run season by any other player, Ohtani will win MVP and swim in the money he deserves at the conclusion of this season.
