The 93rd annual MLB All-Star game will take place this year in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle, Washington home of the Mariners at T-Moblie Park. The event is star-studded, filled with the game's best players. This year will be no exception, even though we don't know who the fans will vote for; however, earlier today, we found out how the 1st ballot votes came out.

To no one's surprise, Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani is the leader in the DH position for the AL, while Mike Trout is second in voting among outfielders.

Ohtani leads by a mile and then some in the DH AL spot with a total of 924,182 votes. Brandon Belt of the Toronto Blue Jays is in second place, with 205,659 votes. Ohtani was going to get in regardless, but even the amount in which he is leading is a bit of a surprise. The 28-year-old is the brightest star in the league, and we'll see how many votes he gets by the end of it. You can book his ticket to Seattle already.

As for Trout, he is in second place among outfielders behind Yankees superstar Aaron Judge. The three-time MVP has 598,918 total votes, with Astros outfielder and slugger Yordan Alvarez just behind the Halos superstar. When/If Trout makes the team, this will be his 11th selection in 13 years. Trout is already on a Hall-of-fame trajectory, and it's great to see him still be fantastic this long into his career.

These two ball players are the best on the team and possibly the two best in the entire game. Angel fans are fortunate to be witnessing the best duo in baseball, as we'll be rooting them on once they make it to Seattle for the mid-summer classic.
