Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has been so good for so long. He entered the league in 2011 with the Halos, and since then, he's been considered one of the top players in the league and the best player in the league for a long time.

Trout is now 31, in his 13th year in the league, with his fair share of injuries. Father time may be catching up to the 10-time All-Star, and the numbers reflect that as of late.

Although Trout has homered in the previous three games, his numbers in the past 14 games have been horrific. The nine-time silver slugger spoke to Angels insider from OC register Jeff Flecther and said he hopes his homers in this series help him get out of his funk.

“It’s something to build off,” Trout said after he hit a home run in the Angels’ 3-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night. “Obviously the last few weeks I’d been missing pitches. Felt better tonight. It’s baseball.”

“If I could pinpoint it, I could fix it by now,” Trout said before Wednesday’s game. “Some at-bats I feel good and some I’m just under balls.”

According to Fletcher, in his last 14 games from Wednesday, Trout was batting .185 with a .526 OPS, 17 strikeouts, and four walks in 60 PAs.

This is new territory for Mike, as he has been as consistent as you could be since entering the league in 2011. However, Trout may have found something in Baltimore, where he hit his first career home run. He homered on Wednesday night and early Thursday with three total hits, three RBIs, and two runs.

Baseball has its highs and lows, even for the greats in the game; there's no doubt he will figure it out soon, and he might've already. We'll see how he does moving forward.
