Angels Notes: Mad Dog's Bad Shohei Ohtani Take, Zach Neto Making Improvements, Another Surprise Call-Up

The Angels lost 5-0 to the Texas Rangers Wednesday night.

While the Angels will not be seeing meaningful baseball in October this season, they can at least celebrate the fact that Shohei Ohtani will undoubtedly win the 2023 AL MVP award.

However, MLB Network's Chris "Mad Dog" Russo has a different argument to make.

In other news, Reid Detmers pitched his last game of a strong season and rookie Zach Neto is feeling better about his plate presence as the 2023 season comes to a close.
