Ronald Acuña Jr. added to his homerun total (29), sending one over the right-center field wall, scoring Michael Harris II, and giving the Braves a 4-2 lead.
This lead did not last long, as the Rockies were able to score two runs and tie the game.
Braves starter Bryce Elder hasn't been his sharpest in this ball game, and it is showing in the box score.

Pitching Matchup for the Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies on Monday, August 28th
Starting for Atlanta is RHP Bryce Elder. 10-4 with a 3.39 ERA on the season, he's struck out 103 in his 25 starts. After some post-ASB struggles, Elder used matchups against the New York teams to right the ship: He's 2-0 with one run allowed in his last 12.1 innings, with three hits combined against the Yankees and Mets. He picked up a win at home against Colorado on June 17th, going six innings with one run on four hits, striking out four and walking none.
Opposing the Braves is LHP Austin Gomber. The 29 year-old is 9-9 with a 5.48 ERA in his 26 starts this season, striking out only 86 in his 136.1 innings. He avoided facing the Braves on their trip to Atlanta, but several members of the roster have had success against him: Travis d'Arnaud is 3-3 with two homers and six RBIs, while Ronald Acuña Jr is 1-5 with a solo homer.
