WATCH: Matt Olson just OBLITERATED a baseball into the right-center seats

Olson's nineteenth homer of the season gives the Braves an 8-3 lead

Matt Olson just obliterated a baseball.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Olson absolutely crushed a home run deep into the right-center seats. The home run traveled 456 feet and was 109.5 miles per hour off the bat. This is Olson’s nineteenth home run of the season and RBI number forty-five.

The first baseman leads the team in homeruns, but also leads the National League in strikeouts. After hitting most of the season in the second spot, Olson dropped to fifth in the lineup tonight, and the change may be what he needed to reset. Olson is now two for four on the evening.

The Braves now have an 8-3 lead headed to the top of the eighth inning.
