MLB has announced the first and second team nominees for the 'All-Spring Breakout' teams, and Miami is one of three organizations that placed three prospects on the lists.

Originating from MLB Pipeline, thirty players were selected from across baseball, representing eighteen organizations. Only Miami, the New York Yankees, and the Los Angeles Dodgers had three or more players selected.

For the Marlins, there was one player on the First Team and two on the Second Team.

Outfielder Griffin Conine was a first-team selection and one of only three prospects to make either team without being rated in his organization's top 30 list by MLB Pipeline. Conine went 2-3 with a homer and two RBIs in the game on Friday. Both of his hits came off of top prospects for the Cardinals, with the homer off of Max Rajcic, a college draftee out of UCLA and an organizational top-15 prospect, while the RBI single came off of righty Tekoah Roby, the organization's #2 pitching prospect behind starter Tink Hence.

Infielder Yiddi Cappe was named to the Second Team at second base. Ranked 7th in the organization's Top 30 prospect, Cappe went 2-2 and stole a base in the game.

Pitcher Thomas White started the game for Miami, pitching one inning with a walk and three strikeouts. Named Miami's #2 prospect behind fellow 2023 1st rounder Noble Meyer, White visited the broadcast booth after the game and dished on his close relationship with Meyer since last July's draft.
