New York Mets Announce 2023 Promotional Schedule

The team announced the schedule on Wednesday, which includes 28 different promotions throughout the year and 17 celebration events.

Opening Day is rapidly approaching, which means a new season of baseball and brand new team giveaways.

The New York Mets announced their promotional schedule on Wednesday, which includes 40 giveaway items, 17 celebration events, four firework displays and a team Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony.

The team will have a slew of bobblehead nights, which includes a Francisco Lindor giveaway against his former team the Cleveland Guardians on May 20, a Howie Rose talking bobblehead, a Starling Marte and Black Panther themed bobblehead, Mr. Met as Indiana Jones and an Edwin Diaz trumpet bobblehead.

New York will also be doing giveaways of Mets themed jerseys from different sports including basketball, football, soccer and hockey.

A few other standout items include Max Scherzer inspired two-tone sunglasses, a glow-in-the-dark Kodai Senga fork ball and a Buck Showalter inspired windbreaker.

Apart from promotions, the team will also have several DJ nights, Pride Night, a multitude of heritage nights, Mental Health Awareness Day and Women's Equality Day.
