The more things change, the more they stay the same. The Padres and Dodgers faced off in a meaningless game in spring training on Monday where Los Angeles beat the Friars 8-3.

But the important headline is that this was Fernando Tatis Jr's first game against the Dodgers since 2021. With that came the booes

“Oh yeah. All the time. Feels great. When you hear those boos, you definitely got history.”

Tatis went 0-3 against the Dodgers while making a nice play in right field. The 0-3 continues a tough spring for Nando as he makes his way back from missing the entire 2022 season with injury and a suspension. He's still set to miss the first 20 games of the season while he finishes that suspension.

The Padres are 6-5 this spring training season.
