The vibes had been off at Petco Park after the Padres had dropped two straight against the Milwaukee Brewers. However, they finally flipped the script and got one of their most dominant wins yet as they prevailed 10-3.

Their offense finally woke up and they were able to not only consistently get runners on base but also bring them in. The likes of Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, and Nelson Cruz all saw a ton of success at the plate and helped the Friars only continue to build their lead as the innings went on.

However, it was Jake Cronenworth who was the story of the ballgame.

In a total of four at-bats, he was able to garner three hits, one walk, and six RBI's. It was definitely his type of night and he actually made history in the process.

The 29-year-old had never hit more than one home run in a game before nor posted six RBI's. There really was not a better game for him to do so considering how stagnant San Diego's offense has been as of late.

Cronenworth spoke to media after the win and expressed that he wants to see that fire from his and his teammates every single game.

"The biggest thing is to just hit something that feels comfortable and, more importantly timing, just going out there no matter and compete," said Cronenworth. "Yeah, I think that's they key, just do it consistently. Today's the day and we did a really good job with it today but we got to come out tomorrow and the following days and do the same."

This may be the win that turns everything around for the Friars especially with some guy potentially returning this weekend.
