Your San Diego Padres are not starting the season how they had hoped. The Friars are currently 3-3 and second in the NL West, but it's too early in the season to worry about their record.

One thing the Padres and their fans are okay with is their newest superstar player Xander Boagerts. Boagerts has been phenomenal in his first six games, and Friars fans can't get enough of him. Take a look at what Twitter page Talking Frairs changed San Diego's name to.

Fans can't get enough of Xander, as he is opening the season as hot as anymore in Major League Baseball.

The fans are loving it, and you can't blame them. The 30-year-old is living up to his contract thus far as he is slashing .409/.440/.955 with a 1.395 OPS, three home runs, and seven RBIs in 22 ABs thus far.

Is Xander able to sustain this? I don't expect a .400 average, but I expect Xander to continue to do significant damage in a loaded lineup. Throughout his career, Xander has had a .461 slugging, and his highest career slugging was .555 in 2019.

The Boagert fever is high right now in San Diego. It's Xander's world, and we're just living in it.
