Watch Padres' Fernando Tatis Jr. Hit Moonshot For First Home Run of Spring

Nando is back!

Entering the season, much of the talk around the San Diego Padres was about the health of star Fernando Tatis Jr. He had a normal offseason this year, and has been looking forward to returning himself to form this season.

Tatis Jr. is electric when he's on the field, and the Padres need him to be himself if they want to be competitive this season. He is ready to show what he can do once again and reminded everyone of how much fun he can be.

He hit a moonshot home run off Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Luis Castillo, for his first home run of the spring. San Diego fans love seeing this from Tatis Jr. and we expect to see more as we get deeper into the games.

If he can show this type of power the rest of the season, the Padres will be in good shape. Tatis Jr. is the biggest x-factor for San Diego, and this is a good sign for him off a strong opposing pitcher.

Many have speculated that an MVP season could be in the works for the San Diego star. That hype will come with time, but for now, he is off to a great start.
