How To Watch, Listen, Pitching Probables For Texas Rangers at Detroit Tigers

The Texas Rangers head to Detroit to face the Tigers in a four-game series at Comerica Park that starts on Monday.

The Texas Rangers hit the second leg of their 10-game, three-city road trip when they head north for a four-game series with the Detroit Tigers that starts on Monday.

The Rangers (8-8) lost two out of three games to the Houston Astros in their first leg of the road trip, and it put some stress on their pitching staff.

Brock Burke went on the 15-day injured list on Saturday after he put his left fist through a wall after a bad outing on Friday, leading to a roster move.

Then, on Sunday, Texas had to put their best starter so far this season, left-hander Cody Bradford, on the 15-day injured list due to a lower back strain.

With that, the Rangers are calling up veteran Michael Lorenzen to start Monday’s game against Detroit. But the rest of their rotation for the series, as of Sunday night, was TBA. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy did say on Sunday that the team could go with a six-man rotation as they don’t have an off-day until after the Atlanta series this coming weekend.

Adolis García leads Texas with four home runs and 15 RBI, and he pushed his batting average to a team-leading .328. Corey Seager is batting .304, the only other quality Rangers hitter batting batter than .300.

Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, how to watch, listen and more.
