Texas Rangers Taking Fans Behind Scenes At Spring Training With All-Access YouTube Series

Rangers: All Access will provide fans that can't be in Surprise, Ariz., with interviews and practice footage throughout spring training.

The Texas Rangers aren’t waiting for someone to come do a documentary on them. They’re taking care of it themselves.

Per The Dallas Morning News, the Rangers are putting together a behind-the-scenes series at spring training that will debut the weekend of the Rangers’ first exhibition games against the Kansas City Royals in Surprise, Ariz.

Called Rangers: All-Access, a four-person film crew is following the team and coaches and will produce 10-to-15-minute segments for the Rangers YouTube channel.

So, you don’t need a streaming account to watch behind-the-scenes highlights and interviews as the Rangers prepare their attempt to repeat as World Series champions.

Episodes will continue until the start of the regular season.

MLB Productions is reportedly working on a video to chronicle the 2023 season, but there is no release date. The Rangers won 90 games in the regular season under manager Bruce Bochy and then won every road game they played on their way to their first World Series title.

The Rangers’ pitchers and catchers reported to Surprise last week, with position players following on Monday. The Rangers will be without shortstop Corey Seager for most of spring training due to sports hernia surgery. Third baseman Josh Jung will also miss some time after injuring his calf during his first workout.

Dane Dunning is set to start Friday’s spring training opener against Kansas City. After Dunning, Cody Bradford, Jack Leiter, Danny Duffy, Zak Kent, Yerry Rodriguez, Antoine Kelly, and Marc Church are expected to pitch.
