Cincinnati Reds Invite Mat Nelson and Daniel Vellojin to Spring Training

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Reds invited minor league catchers Mat Nelson and Daniel Vellojin to Major League spring training camp. Cincinnati will have seven catchers this spring
The Reds have 61 players on their spring training roster.
Vellojin, 24, posted a .198/.312/.308 slash line in 70 games in Double-A last season, including 12 doubles, one triple, and four home runs. He threw out 30% of opposing base stealers, but he also allowed 10 passed balls in just 68 starts behind the plate.
Nelson, 25, spent most of last season in High-Dayton. He posted a .220/.322/.422 slash line with nine doubles and 18 home runs.
Both guys give the Reds extra catching depth for spring training and aren't expected to make the roster.
