Report: Reds Interested in Trading For Rays Ace Tyler Glasnow

The 30-year-old has one more year left on his contract.

CINCINNATI — The Reds are hoping to add to their starting rotation this offseason.

It sounds like they're willing to be aggressive, even if it means giving up future assets and absorbing a big contract.

According to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com, the Reds are interested in trading for Rays starter Tyler Glasnow. The 30-year-old will make $25 million in 2024 before becoming a free agent.

Glasnow posted a 3.53 ERA for the Rays in 121 innings last season, making 21 starts.

Tampa Bay could want a lot in return for the veteran and they'll likely have multiple suitors for his services.
