Cleveland Guardians Sign Former Cincinnati Reds Starter Ben Lively

The Guardians added a veteran to their staff on Tuesday.

CINCINNATI — Former Reds starter Ben Lively signed a one-year deal with the Guardians on Tuesday. 

The contract is worth $750,000 according to Zack Meisel of The Athletic. 

Lively started 12 games and made 19 appearances for the Reds last season, He posted a 5.38 ERA and had 79 strikeouts in 88.2 innings.
