I have to confess, I never knew the Stanford Band had such a controversial past. It's Always Sunny in Detroit alerted me that the group was banned from the Orange Bowl halftime show because they planned to do a routine titled, "Recent Events in the Pro Sports World in Miami." That led me to the band's Wikipedia page and I recommend scrolling to the "Controversial actions by the band section" for some amusing reading material.

UPDATE, 4:49 p.m.: The Stanford band was not banned from performing at the Orange Bowl. But their Wiki page is still worth reading.

In today's A.M. Hot Clicks, I told you the homeless man with the golden pipes, Ted Williams, was offered a job by the Cavs. Williams, who now has even more job offers coming in, appeared on CBS's The Early Show this morning.

Bert Blyleven and Roberto Alomar were elected to baseball's Hall of Fame today. This gives me an excuse to feature this T-shirt worn by Blyleven during his playing days and this clip of him accidentally dropping f-bombs on the air.
