Controversial Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson was at it again over the weekend. Henderson led the Rebels with 21 points, but he needed 21 shots to get there. ... [Henderson] created plenty of controversy along the way by taunting opposing fans and teams at times on the court and a care-free attitude off it. He added one final chapter to his season in the spotlight by giving the finger (with both hands) to someone in the crowd as he headed to the locker room after the game. Speedy Heyward-Bey visiting Colts
Perhaps this is the man Jim Irsay had been hinting about. The Colts are taking a look at free agent wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Heyward-Bey is expected to visit with the Colts soon, possibly as early as [Monday]. [Irsay] said on March 16 that the Colts were "very, very close" to a deal with a wide receiver, although he never revealed who he was talking about. There was speculation at the time that Heyward-Bey was the receiver Irsay was talking about, although if they're just planning the visit nine days later, it would be hard to call that "very, very close." Hoiberg a hot prospect for NBA teams
Would he go? Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg has emerged as an intriguing NBA head-coaching candidate, multiple front-office executives told Yahoo! Sports. After resurrecting the Cyclones program and nearly pushing them into the Sweet 16 of the 2013 NCAA tournament, Hoiberg's college coaching success, combined with his pro pedigree, has convinced league officials he's the ideal college coach to make the transition to pro basketball. "If I had to make a hire this year, [Hoiberg] would be one of the first calls I'd make," one NBA general manager told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday. ... Among seven GMs contacted on Sunday, there wasn't a single one who expressed skepticism about Hoiberg's ability to make an immediate leap to an NBA coaching job should he have a desire to do so.
