Delaware Blue Coats Sign Quinton Rose

The Blue Coats have made another acquisition.

While the regular season of the NBA is starting to wind down, sitting five weeks out from the start of the playoffs, the same can't be said for the G-League, as they are starting to get into the final stages of the week with the playoffs sitting three weeks out.

With this proximity to the end of the season, teams are starting to make their finals moves with the hope to propel them forward in the playoffs, the Delaware Bluecoats are no different.

In recent weeks, this could be seen as Delaware made the recent decision to let go of Kenny Lofton Jr, while they welcomed Rob Edwards and Daniel Giddens into the Chase Fieldhouse.

The newly acquired partnership made their debuts in the mid-week as the Blue Coats continue to be without their two-way players who remain with the Philadelphia 76ers amidst their ongoing injury crisis.

It appears that they aren't exactly done with making moves as they have signed Quinton Rose, who spent the first half of the season with the Rip City Remix, the G-League affiliate of the Portland Trailblazers.

Rose has struggled to break through into the NBA, but has found a consistent spot in the G-League, averaging eight points on 36 percent shooting, through his time with the Remix as well as the West Chester Knicks.

Fans of Philadelphia area college basketball may recognize Rose's name as he spent four years at Temple University, where he averaged 14 points on 40 percent shooting before entering the 2020 NBA Draft.
