Fresh off a scintillating win over the Sacramento Kings, the Chicago Bulls (29-32) will play the Utah Jazz (28-34) at the Delta Center. The Bulls have a lot of momentum, especially after they rallied from a 22-point deficit to take down the Kings, 113-109. However, it remains to be seen if the Bulls can capitalize on this win and continue their push for a playoff spot.

Jazz slumping

The Jazz, on the other hand, have been struggling lately. They've eight of their last ten games and have fallen out of the Western Conference playoff picture. Utah has been hit hard by injuries with former Bull Lauri Markkanen and promising center Walker Kessler out with injuries. Starting point guard, Keyonte George is also a game-time decision after falling ill in their last game.

Chicago is looking to replicate their 130-113 win over Utah in November last year. However, Zach LaVine was still playing for the Bulls at that time, scoring 24 points. LaVine has since been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to foot surgery.

Will Torrey Craig play?

With LaVine and Patrick Williams out for the season, the Bulls’ forward rotation has grown paper thin. The potential return of reserve forward Torrey Craig, whom Chicago acquired in the offseason, may help fill the void. Craig, who has been dealing with a knee sprain, has been listed as questionable for tonight’s game.

If Craig can suit up, he will likely see minutes at small forward and power forward positions. This versatility will be valuable against a Jazz team that boasts size and strength in their frontcourt.
