Jayson Tatum Discusses Celtics' Recent Road Trip

On Monday, the Boston Celtics picked up a 118-104 win against the Charlotte Hornets. The victory concluded Boston’s six-game road trip, which also included matches with the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, and Atlanta Hawks.

As captured by NBC Sports Boston, Jayson Tatum provided his takeaways from the tour.

“We’re in the unique position of having the best record in the league and we got home-court advantage, all those things, first place, and I think for most of this road trip, we’ve been playing against teams that are fighting for playoff position, play-in spots except for the team tonight,” said Tatum. “Just understanding that it’s not always going to go the way we expect it to and how are we going to respond? If we lose the first game in Round 1, how are we going to respond?”

Tatum conveyed that Boston’s time on the road was a positive experience.

“Each game just brought something different out of us, and it was good for us to go through that.”

Boston's next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 3, against the Oklahoma City Thunder at TD Garden; tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. EST.
