NBA Legend Gives Reality Check to LA Clippers

Shaq had some words for the Clippers.

Regardless of how well the LA Clippers perform, they'll always have loud critics in the media. One of their biggest critics has always been NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.

On Tuesday night, the shorthanded Clippers had a whopping 37-point lead against the Phoenix Suns during a TNT game. While the Clippers dominated the Suns for the majority of the game, they almost let go of the rope when it became a seven-point game. Despite the Clippers winning the game by 13 points, Shaq wasn't impressed.

"The Clippers are too up and down for me," Shaq said. "Ty Lue is my guy, I love the guys, but until they show me they can get it done, win multiple rounds, I'm not really impressed. The fact that they lost this 36-point lead, tells me they have concentration lulls every now and then, but they was able to win the game and it's going to be very interesting."

While the exact seedings aren't completely solidified, it's official that the LA Clippers will be facing the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. It'll be the third time in five years that these two teams have faced off in the first round, with LA winning both series. Both teams look completely different this time around, but it's clear, that this will be the most competitive first round matchup in the Western Conference.
