Kawhi Leonard’s Status for Clippers vs. 76ers

The LA Clippers have released their injury report vs. the 76ers

The LA Clippers are back home from their brief two-game road trip, and will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday afternoon. The Clippers have released their injury report for this game, and Kawhi Leonard is not listed, meaning he is available to play.

Leonard appeared to jam his hand/wrist while in Portland, but was never forced to miss any time, and has not appeared on an injury reprort since. This is great news for the Clippers, as Leonard has continued to remain durable this season.

The Clippers are set to begin a back-to-back set that starts on Sunday vs. Philadelphia, and finishes on Monday vs. the Indiana Pacers. The Clippers have not been impacted by the NBA's new player participation policy this season, as their stars have been available whenever healthy.

The rest of the regular season is an important stretch of games for the Clippers, as they not only want to hold off the 5th seed New Orleans Pelicans, but want to enter the postseason with momentum. Having experienced some regression since the All-Star break, the Clippers hope their back-to-back wins over the Portland Trail Blazers can be what gets them back on track.

This game against the 76ers will be a tough one, because while Philadelphia is without Joel Embiid, the Clippers have struggled in these afternoon games.
