2023 NBA Draft: Jordan Hawkins Offers Game-Changing Shooting

One of the top 2023 NBA Draft risers due to a stone sophomore campaign and subsequent national championship run, Jordan Hawkins is one of the better shooting talents in recent memory.

Shooting 39 percent on 7.6 three-point attempts per game in his sophomore season, Hawkins was likely the best shooting talent in all of college basketball. But his worth goes far beyond just the outside shot.

Hawkins is adept as a movement shooter, a highly-coveted skill in the NBA that’s able to be utilized in a variety of ways.

With the gravitational pull of the NBA’s current stars, Hawkins added space could be game-changing for a variety of teams.

Hawkins offers plenty of the ways of overall scoring, too. Averaging 16.2 points per game for the Huskies en route to their title win, Hawkins helped shoulder the load, shooting 43 percent overall.

His on-ball creation and live-dribble game need some work, but he's still able to get to the rack via creative plays and his high-level energy. And his massive freshman to sophomore jump bodes well for his eventual on-ball development.
