2023 NBA Draft: Milwaukee Bucks Official Selections and Draft Grades

Who did the Milwaukee Bucks select in the 2023 NBA Draft?

Entering the 2023 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks owned the very last pick in the event. With two teams having to forfeit their second rounders, only 58 picks were set to be made. While there's a very small chance that the last player picked in any draft sticks in the NBA, it's still worth taking a swing for a team like Milwaukee. Anything can happen, especially in a strong developmental program.

Draft Summary

While the Bucks didn't come away with any elite talents, it was as productive of a draft as they could have asked for relative to what they came in with. Milwaukee was able to trade into the second round to add Andrew Jackson Jr., while also landing a prospect like Chris Livingston who could have been drafted sooner had his representation not requested he isn't selected by anyone other than the Bucks.

Jackson is one of the most dynamic defenders in this class, although his shooting needs work. He's also a fantastic passer and was well worth an early second rounder. Livingston will be more of a project at the next level, but was a huge prospect coming out of high school and has a ton of upside.
