After sending two one-and-done's in Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston to the NBA just last season, Kentucky’s newest class has the potential to offer even more to the draft’s ranks.

Per 247Sports, Rivals and On3 recruiting services, Kentucky pulled the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation, highlighted by Justin Edwards, DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw.

Edwards, potentially the most highly-touted of the three, is a 6-foot-7, perimeter-oriented wing whose comfortable from range, but has the juice to put the ball on the floor, too. He’s a staunch defender already with swarming tendencies and good footwork.

To this point, Edwards has impressed enough with his skillset to be a near-consensus top-ten selection on most expert mocks and big boards.

Trailing just behind Edwards is 6-foot-3 guard DJ Wagner, who with his lightning quick-twitch style of play, has decent claim to being the top guard prospect in the class.

Wagner has a good mix of both point and shooting guard skills, and is set to see a solid amount of minutes for the Wildcats this upcoming season.

Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman has Edwards ranked at No. 3.

Lastly is Aaron Bradshaw, a seven-footer who suffered a foot fracture not long ago, and could be missing a chunk at the beginning of the season. There’s been various reports about Bradshaw’s injury and availability for Kentucky. But based off his intangibles alone — 7-foot with stretch capabilities and some decent defensive instincts — he could garner lottery looks.

The 2023-24 Kentucky roster will make its debut on Nov. 14, 2023 against the Kansas Jayhawks in Chicago for the State Farm Champions Classic.
