LeBron James Sends Message to Young Future Star

LeBron James shared a message for GG Jackson.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies may have had some bad blood the last two seasons, but it's nothing but love between LeBron James and GG Jackson.

Prior to facing off against the Lakers last night, GG Jackson shared his excitement about facing his idol LeBron james on the court. Jackson is the youngest player in the NBA at only 19 years. Despite his young age, he's gained the attention of some of the game's biggest names, including LeBron James himself.

“Ever since he's been playing, he's gotten better and better,” LeBron said about Jackson. "I had the opportunity to watch him live at Peach Jam a couple of years ago, playing for Team CP3. You know, I feel like he was one of the best players at Peach Jam. He bypassed his senior year and went straight to South Carolina, right? He was ready to go to the college ranks, he was teammates with my nephew, Meechie Johnson, there. So, I got the opportunity to watch him a lot there. He's gotten better and better every time he stepped out on the floor."

Getting praise from one of the best basketball players ever has to be an amazing feeling for a 19-year-old. Throughout all of the Grizzlies' struggles this season, the emergence of young GG Jackson has to be the only silver lining.
