In an official press release on Tuesday afternoon, the Memphis Grizzlies announced their new trade with the Phoenix Suns. The team's press release read the following:

"The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team acquired the rights to two future first-round pick swaps (2024 and 2030) and forward Isaiah Todd from the Phoenix Suns for three future second round picks. Todd (6-10, 220) has appeared in 18 games (one start) and has averaged 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in 7.5 minutes in two seasons with the Washington Wizards since he was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 31st overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. The 21-year-old Baltimore native, who played with NBA G League Ignite before entering the NBA, was traded by the Wizards to the Suns on June 23."

This is not the type of deal that projects to have an immediate impact for either side, but the assets exchanged could always be part of future deals this offseason or later down the line. For Memphis, they get the rights to two future first-round pick swaps and Isaiah Todd, while the Suns acquire three future second round picks.

The Suns have been very depleted of draft assets since their recent blockbuster moves both this summer and last season, so this deal helps them replenish some of what was lost in those big trades.
