Knocking down his 300th three pointer of the season on Wednesday night vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry made NBA history. For Curry, this was his 5th time making at least 300 threes in a season, which extended his lead for the most such seasons in NBA history.

Curry's combination of volume, efficiency, and difficulty on his three point shots is was separates him from everyone else, as there is nobody with his level of three-point shotmaking ability and accuracy. The greatest shooter the game has ever seen, Curry continues to break and expand records with his shooting, and did so again on Wednesday night vs. Memphis.

This has been a frustrating season for the Warriors, because despite Curry still being a superstar-caliber player, the Warriors have been unable to escape the 10th seed. It's looking more and more likely that the Warriors will finish 9th or 10th, which will require them to win two play-in tournament games in order to make the playoffs.

Golden State's roster outside of Curry has been inconsistent all season, with no bonafide second option stepping up until Jonathan Kuminga's recent surge. This has really complicated things for an already imperfect Warriors roster, but they still believe they can go on a run to close the season and make some noise in the postseason.
