Nikola Jokic's Updated Injury Status vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Nuggets have updated their injury report

The Denver Nuggets are set to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon in their season finale. Star center Nikola Jokic was initially listed as questionable on the injury report, but has since been upgraded to available.

The Nuggets blew a golden opportunity to secure the first seed when they fell to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, and will now need some help from the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves in order to escape the third seed.

There is still so much to be determined in the Western Conference standings entering the final day of the regular season. The Nuggets could finish anywhere from first to third in the standings, which is why they are deciding to have Jokic play in this game.

The Grizzlies are without almost their entire roster for this game, but they were still able to go down to the wire with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday despite this. The Nuggets will have to bring the right focus against this young Grizzlies group in order to avoid another letdown.

While the Nuggets would love to secure home court advantage throughout the playoffs, they feel confident in their chances in any series. The favorites many places to repeat as champions, Denver certainly expects to be holding the trophy again when the playoffs conclude in June.
