The Miami Heat are included in the race for Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard but a pair of players could block the move. 

Lillard reportedly wants the Blazers to re-sign Jerami Grant and add Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green in order to remain in Portland. The news was reported by Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Last week Green decided to opt of of the final year of his contract ($27.6 million) to test the free agent market. Still, he is reportedly expected to sign a three-year deal with the Warriors according to NBA insider Marc Stein. 

The Blazers are expected to re-sign Grant, who averaged 19.2 points and 4.1 rebounds last season. The trio of Lillard, Grant and Green would give them one of the top trios in the league. 

The Blazers have already stated their plan is to do everything possible to keep Lillard.
