How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Friday's Loss To The Phoenix Suns

The Miami Heat suffered a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns behind career night from Grayson Allen.

It seems like role players always have career games against the Miami Heat.

The latest was Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen, who had a career-high nine 3-pointers in his 31-point performance against Miami.

Devin Booker and Bradley Beal combined for 45 points without Kevin Durant, but it was Allen who headlined Phoenix's victory Friday night. It was hard to even find Heat fans' reactions amidst the flood of Suns fans trash talk.

Kevin Love had a 15-point first quarter but couldn't keep up his hot streak the rest of the night. Bam Adebayo was the complete opposite, as he ended with 28 points and 10 rebounds after a rough first quarter.

The same can’t be said for Tyler Herro, whose underwhelming nine-point performance (23.5 percent shooting) worried some fans about his consistency. He is averaging just 14 points on 30.6 shooting in his last three performances.

The team collectively shot 27 percent from 3-point range, with just two players scoring more than 10 points. Meanwhile, Phoenix's guards collectively scored 76 points.

“Just one of those nights where we couldn’t throw a penny in the ocean,” one user said. “Tons of open looks. Meanwhile they have absolute bums just making whatever. Just bounce back and move on.”

The demands for star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell rolled back around, as they do every time the Heat lose or play poorly. When the Heat win, fans flaunt their depth. When they lose, there are immediate calls for trades.

The Heat play the Houston Rockets (17-16) Monday night.
